Course Overview:

This training series covers the functions and features of PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)^® to prepare you for your certification exam. Students will learn about risk management planning, risk identification and stakeholder management and communication. They will also learn about qualitative risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning and learning to control risks.

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)^® highlights your ability to identify and assess project risks, mitigate threats and capitalize on opportunities. With your advanced skills in risk management, you perform a specialized function attuned to the needs of a project environment. Qualified candidates for the PMI-RMP^® exam must either have:

(1) a secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent), 4,500 hours of project risk management experience, and 40 hours of project risk management education or

(2) a four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent), 3,000 hours of project risk management experience, and 30 hours of project risk management education. Pulse of the Profession is a registered mark of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
